DUIs and friendships etc

I'd be inclined to help this person get their addiction resolved. Obviously someone getting one DUI which was a complete and horrible mistake versus someone who continually makes a decision to drink and drive, risk others lives and their own has some alcohol issues, maybe even some depression but it's worth looking into and getting resolved. I'd try to help that person but if they kept on deciding to take live into their hands by getting in their car drunk then I'd have to leave the friendship.
