O.k.

Ummmm...

I would have to say a good laugh with my son.
Sitting on the beach with the waves and sun.
Peace and quiet.
Chirping bugs on a hot summer night.
Waterfalls.
Fireflies.

I own Paris je t'aime, but I've not yet watched it. Glad to see it on a list!

I don't have much time for a list right now...so quickly...

Nude pumps (patent or otherwise - they are my FAVORITE!)
Sheath dresses
Swimming in the ocean at Siesta Key
Warm toll house cookies just out of the oven
Downhill skiing - flat out - almost but not quite out of control
Driving on a sunny summer day with the windows down singing my head off
Andre Rieu

I'll check back later and add more of the thread is still going!

I love:

*when people brush/play with my hair

*husband's hands on my waist

*grilling in the snow

*the smell of pine trees in the cold

*my children's tiny hands holding mine when we're walking

*the sound of a diesel engine, especially mine

*being dolled up in "night time attire" with my heels on and enjoying a glass of champagne. A fire is an added bonus.

*my truck

*turning men's heads because they see me (a chick) driving my truck

*rowing in an 8+ boat. The rhythm the oars make when everybody is in sync. Even better is when you're out on the water waiting for your heat and listening to the 8+ heat before you...they sound like a locomotive, an effect you just can't hear on the sidelines.

*rowing in the rain

*being at the beach during sunset

*Block Island, RI and Wyoming (my 2 favorite places in the world)

*Thunderstorms

*running at night

*running in the rain

*family get togethers

*spa pedicures

*wearing high heels

*Roll-N-Roaster in Brooklyn

The amazing thing about all those wonderful lists is that I am sure most of us love most of the things mentioned and I find it uplifting and generally positive that some things in life are Universal regardless of creed, race, sexual orientation ,politics, colour or nationality.

Our shared Humanity resonates and shines out in all those lists so well done to the OP ! Excellent and very positive thread indeed.

Now if we could concentrate on what unites us rather than what divides us...
