This is actually ridiculously important to me for some reason. I just could not date somebody if they strolled around all day in one of my t shirts and some sweat pants. Or if they ran around all the time mismatching clothes or something.

I actually have a ridiculous fascination with smells so if they didn't wear perfume or lotions I wouldn't even be attracted to them in the first place.

EDITED TO ADD:

It is impossible to improve their fashion sense without violently offending them. You have to deal with it.

well obviously people who walk around in their PJ's and slippers all day---i have seen them everywhere lately!, are not going to make a good impression and would not catch my attention in a good way.
and if they smell bad, obviously that is not going to help.
if, however, i met and got to know someone who just didnt know how to dress for whatever reason, --the clothes dont fit right etc. i would just take them shopping!

i have come to realize that people "know" what they should wear, but dont for various reasons. dont have money, dont really care at that moment, are just down on their life at the moment....

It would be of no consequence to me. Fashion to me is hollow and has no logical reason for its existence.

LOL d00ds know immediately when a guy is getting dressed by their girlfriend. My brother has just started getting into this...it's hilarious.

Let me just say that I love dressing guys. Not to toot my own horn (oh hell, whatever), but I am fantastic when it comes to picking out clothes for guys. I can guarantee that whatever I put a guy in will increase female attention by minimum 25%. I should charge guys to let me dress them. I enjoy seeing the before-and-after; it's amazing what different clothes can do! Some guys don't understand the importance of a little style. People look at you differently than if you were wearing baggy jeans and a t-shirt.

If I wanted to be dressed up by a woman I'd turn myself into a doll. People always compliment my dress, however I am open to the fact that they could be sucking up. But dressing is pretty easy for me, it's just a shirt and tie.

Um, well........considering what I do for a living, and the fact that I am very visual.......um, no.
I know it sounds shallow, but it just really grates on my last nerve when people cant co-ordinate stuff.

Anna Kornikova in sweats and t-shirt always will be hotter than Rosie O'Donnell regardless of her clothes/hair/whatever. IMHO anyway.
