Yes. My soon to be ex husband used to like wearing baggy jeans and it made him look real sloppy
He's 30 years old.
Now he dresses better. No more baggy jeans.
....but still a douche.
When I'm out on weekends l love people watching, and it always surprises me seeing couples out on dates, where the woman is wearing a cute dress and heels and has obviously put some effort into her outfit, and the dude is rumpled, wearing a ball cap and baggy clothes. It's like, man, that's best you could do?
Yes...see "bitter nice guy" threads..the slobs you mention are the guys that get the pretty women that wear dresses
This is actually ridiculously important to me for some reason. I just could not date somebody if they strolled around all day in one of my t shirts and some sweat pants. Or if they ran around all the time mismatching clothes or something.
I actually have a ridiculous fascination with smells so if they didn't wear perfume or lotions I wouldn't even be attracted to them in the first place.
EDITED TO ADD:

Fashion sense best example is walking into Walmart at any time of day... or night
