History: Mitch, an overweight loser, was out on a date with Robin Scherbatsky, and she invited him up for coffee or something. Things weren't going great, and Mitch knew he stood no realistic chance to hook up on his looks or other merits. Robin left to use the bathroom. When she comes out, Mitch is naked on the couch. Robin hooks up with him.
The prevailing theory is that the Naked Man works 2 out of 3 times. Whether it be not knowing what to say, or just plain pity...2 out of 3 times the chick hooks up with the d00d?
Now is there any truth to CBS's premise?
I thought of this because of the Pantsless Stairs Man story.
As the crow flies, I live about 2 miles away from the ASU Research Park. I should petition for a research grant.
Here's my experiment:
6 healthy, happy couples are asked to participate in a couple's experiment. In all 6 seperate rooms is a one way mirror, and a nice bed. 3 husbands and 3 wives are left behind, while their others are told they are going into a room to take a 10 minute personality test, designed to see how compatible they are with their partner.
When they return to the room, their partner will be stark naked laying on the bed. The partner can say nothing more, other than that he/she is naked.
So the theory is the wives will experience 100% success, while the husbands experience 66%?
