To the OP your grandmom has some truth to what she is saying. As if you sleep with him, you are sleeping with all his previous ladies, same goes for the men. There was a commercial like this.

No, she is old school and religious, I know what she meant.
I just talked with my grandmother and I love her dearly, but according to her, she believes that when a woman allows a man to enter them, "they are receiving every aspect of them." This was followed by, "be careful who you lay down with baby."
If this is true, this would explain a lot, but does anyone else believe this?
I agree with your Grandmother to a certain extent. Same goes for us men too and it doesn't stop as sex.....It can be as simple as who you spend your time with / around, these can have a significant influence on one too.
I have known some old people who believe that as will.
IMHO, sex is not the issue.
Deceit, using it as a weapon or bargaining chip, and confusing it for love area few of the things that cause problems.
Also being irresponsible about sex will either result in pregnancy or sickness.
One of the biggest factors in blaming sex for issues is the cultural standard of it somehow being "wrong" or "bad" if not connected to love and.or marriage.
If people in general ever accept that humans are actually individuals and can also allow others to live freely without trying to force their opinions, then things would work smoothly.
