A recent poll of married women says that in 1/3 of married couples "pets listen more than husbands". How much truth to this survey do you think there is?

If 1/3 of married women said pets were better listeners, does that mean that 2/3 said that their husbands were better listeners (or they were equal)?

I've had cats. Some of them were very companionable, and I miss having one at times. Then I remember the poop. That's always the deal breaker.

Nonsense! My husband and 2 labs are well trained...they listen and obey.

I'm the one that's guilty of not listening. It usually goes in one ear and out the other. Unless it's something I can use against my husband down the road.

That's because pets are a captive audience.

Ex wife didn't listen to me at all. Or would go in one ear and out the other.
