I just subleted a place for a month while they are going out of town. I feel a little creepy for having a thing for the lady that is renting her place to me. I'm sure I could not have done anything to hint I like her until the end of the month to avoid weirdness and of course she may not rent to me. Any ideas? Maybe leave her a welcome home small gift or something.

I was in this situation but it was in reverse. DON'T DO ANYTHING WITH THIS WOMAN. You are renting which is a business situation, and if you start getting involved with this woman's personal life things could get messy real bad if when things go sour.
If you want to date her, find another place to move THEN go back and try to get with her.

She's single. Normally, I wouldn't see a problem with this. BUT you're doing business with her. I would recommend you stop doing business with her if you're really that interested.

You stated "while THEY are going out of town". Who is "THEY"? If she has a SO or is married, the conversation stops now. If she is single, you better make sure you are serious, because if you dump her in the future, and you are renting from her, what are you going to do when you start bringing other women back to our apartment?
