For me, if I don't find a man's voice attractive, it creates this huge barrier. Perhaps it sounds superficial, but I am very auditory orientated and that sense is such an important part of the way I interact with others and the world.
I must admit that once a friend tried to set me up with a friend of a friend. We communicated first online (good old Facebook) and I was very attracted to him based on our interaction. However, when we met in real life and I heard his voice, it nixed all attraction in the bud. He sounded like a squeaky version of Daffy Duck.
It goes without saying that a man who can sing is extremely attractive. In fact, a man who can make any noise in general that appeals to me instantly becomes more attractive.
What can I say? I think we are all built with certain senses stronger than others and I guess mine just happened to involve the ears.
LOVE voices- LOVE them. did i mention that i LOVE them??
but i LOVE men's voices. especially raspy deep scratchy ones. like when he has a sore throat kind of sound, or he's been drinking so much whiskey...lol. not that i want him to be sick or drunk, but it creates more "raspiness" and depth
A good voice is a must for me. I like a deeper voice with some life to it.
There's a guy at my work who sounds like he's half dead or as though a full sentence saps all his energy. "Oh bother." I can't imagine him ever trying to talk sweet to a woman. lol. Think Ben Stein.

I have a deep voice that fits me and most of the women that I have dated were really into it. It doesn't always have bearing on the person though. Think Mike Tyson, man that guy had a squeaky little boy kind of voice but could design a punch to make your liver bleed!
I have previously written a little story right here about a woman I met at a happy hour about 2 weeks ago. I was attracted to her hair but once she talked.........that soft sweet voice that would stop any man speechless was what made me stay. She was not my body type and was Latino which I would never think of dating but her voice kept my interest. Holy Moses was she pretty.
So no you are not crazy. People can be attracted to voice.
Another one that comes to mind that doesn't fit the person is Anderson Silva. His voice is very similar to Mike Tyson's, yet you aren't laughing when he wins! Anderson Silva - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Love a deep, raspy voice in a man, especially when that voice is whispering sexy things in my ear!
I have a deep voice for a woman, but have never been told its a turn-off....
