No big plans for me, my husband is sick so I'll be taking care of him....from a distance, he's staying in a room with the humidifier and you know I can't go in there, my hair would frizz!

I've seen it too many times and it just makes it feel that much worse!

Thursday is supposed to be even hotter! Forecast says 119, so you can guess it will be about 125
Makes me thankful I live in Minnesota!! -25 below zero sounds soooo much better than 125 degrees! Just curl up in front of a fireplace with jeans and a sweatshirt over crankin' the a/c and sweatin' toooo much. When it gets too hot here I close the curtains, crank the a/c and pop in Christmas movies! Makes me feel lots cooler! The power of suggestion...or a/c!

I just came back from Georgetown Kentucky, the daily temps were hovering around 82 to 83, no humidity, light winds, which made walking around the Kentucky Horse Park even more enjoyable. The nights cooled down to around 64 degrees and this made my morning cup of coffee on the balcony very enjoyable. If only I could have figured out how to bottle this up and bring it back to hot, humid and very dry Mississippi.

Happy 4th everyone!
Not much to do today....don't wanna brave any crowds. Gonna stay at home. Ethan can go in his pool later and we're gonna have a bbq. My BIL is coming over. Later we'll maybe do a few little fireworks for the little man and watch the ones at the local park from our driveway.

"Cause there ain't no doubt......I love this land........God Bless the USA!"

I have been getting the pool ready, am ready for a day relaxing in it. Thought son and dh were going fishing, but seems that was just too good to be true. Guess I will be cooking hambugers and hot dogs after all. Wishing everyone a happy 4th, and guys, keep safe. We love ya.

Hello and Happy 4th of July!!!!! (Imagine fireworks and the Star Spangled Banner ) Hope everyone is well. We will be going to my SIL's this afternoon for a cookout. I have been instructed to bring nothing except juice boxes for my kids! I feel really guilty about not taking anything, but those were my instructions and I wouldn't won't to anger the "other" side of the family. Right? We will not be staying for fireworks. Have not told the kids yet. They will be very disappointed, but they will be able to watch them all the way home and it is a good hours drive. Hope everyone has a spectacular day.

Take care and God bless America!!!
