I forgot all about it, so I guess it doesn't mean much to me. It's just another cool date, but I think last year's 6-6-6 was much cooler - LOL... and next year will be an exciting one for Chinese people, since 888 is VERY lucky in their culture! I live & work in a Chinese neighborhood, and you wouldn't believe how many 8s I see around - on license plates, phone numbers, email addresses, and so forth. My landlord actually got excited when he saw my license plate, since it has two eights & a six (another lucky number).
They say that theoretically, the world will end on December 21, 2012, because the Aztec calender ends that day. Regardless, this is the religion forum, and keep the discussion going!
While I don't put any stock in Aztec predictions, I do find it weird that they ended the calender in 2012, Why not 2000, or even 2010? People usually stop counting on a number ending in zero. Why didn't they?
When I think of 777, as an aviation enthusiast, I think of Boeing's most advanced jetliner, and of course today being 7-8-7, again I think of the Boeing 787, which combines the technology of the 777, plus economy and more.
Remember also, the numbers in July are very significant for aviation if you go back to July 2nd, because they coincide with Boeing's jetliners, 7-2-7, 7-3-7, 7-4-7, 7-5-7, and 7-6-7...
What does all that have to do with "Religion"? Well, William Boeing liked the number 7 for model deisgnations, because of the Biblical references, even with propeller models, like the 207, 247, and the 377. Unfortunately, he didn't live long enough to see Boeing's first jetliner, the 707, fly on its first commercial flight in 1958 for Pan Am. He passed away in late September of 1956, but he did live to see it's prototype, the Dash-8 fly in 1954.
