Some support free love and some requires chastity until marriage and even then only for children.

So what are the extremes and what are the averages regarding the religious philosophies on sex?

The biggest proponents of abstinence have the highest teen pregnancies in the states. Teen pregnancies 15-19 account for 14% of USA live births.

suspect you mean the largest religions
of those, there is a range regarding views on sex, but it is safe to say that all of them are male-oriented.
Judaism instructs men to give pleasure to their wives before getting it; not sure, however, if this is actively carried out in today's world
Islam might have a similar take (Islam was heavily influenced by Judaism), but w/ so many other female prohibitions as to make anything positive seem not worth it (such as females being required to do what the family requires of them else face certain death)
christianity is completely male-oriented with females being nothing more than breeding stock
hinduism had the kama sutra, but that was in another time. now, females are subject to the dictates of their parents who tend to keep their daughters under strict supervision (think of the caste system)

Perhaps you should read up before you speak.

1Corinthians 7:3-5 Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again.

I don't understand what you are saying. Nevada is ranked number one on the list. Nevada is home to legal prostitution and gambling. Las Vegas is nicknamed "Sin City".

I'm trying to figure this out and put it in common terminology. A married couple are having an argument and not sleeping with one another. Just get it on, skip lunch, say halleluiah and do it again.
Sorry, that don't work. Flowers and a Hallmark Card will go a lot farther on getting you on that hunting trip.

Well, if you're looking for you most extreme sexist practices overall:
Hinduism practiced Sati until the British banned the practice. Basically, if you are a woman and your husband dies you will either willingly throw yourself on his funeral pyre and be burned alive or you will be put there by force and burned alive anyways. Sucks to be you if your husband dies young. So sure you've got the Kama Sutra, but Hinduism (ancient and modern) is very male-oriented as a religion. I dare say you've never studied ANYTHING about the history of Hinduism if you're trying to say it's more repressive than it used to be.

I think you're just kicking the anthill to see the reaction. Do you have any basis for this at all?

You're information on all of the other religions is lacking. Every world religion has been extremely male-dominant for entire history of the planet -- and any exceptions are unbelievably rare.

One thing that Christians and some other religions have wrestled with a lot over the centuries: Trying to decide if a woman having an orgasm during sexual intercourse is sinful. I honestly don't know where they're finding any basis for a debate there. The Bible says jack squat on the matter. But in a world where female circumcision and Sati have been or are being practiced, I'd say Christian confusion over this matter is pretty small potatoes. And it's a very rare thing to find any Christian who still thinks that it's sinful.
