We all get too caught up in religion. Why let it run our lives if there is no definitive proof that there is something beyond this life (I'm sorry to offend, but knowing God is in your heart is not definitive proof)? It's almost like killing yourself to see what comes after. After learning more about atheism, I have much respect for atheists mainly because for the most part they do not judge others. I believe that we should all take a little something from the athiests and live for today, live for life and not the afterlife and stop judging others based on our beliefs, because most likely those are not their beliefs.
Taking ideas from others isn't taking away from your faith, it's adding to it. Becoming a more cultural and openminded person will build character.
Are there any challenges that you have that aren't completely onesided?

Part of what you say is true, some people do get too caught up in religion and we should enjoy our lives here on earth too and judging others is wrong. But I am caught up in God, yes He is in my heart, I have a relationship with Him and yes I believe He is real. But life is short and the afterlife will go on forever so I will continue to tell people about Jesus in hopes that maybe, just maybe I can help spare at least one person from eternal hell, I believe whether we go to Heaven or hell, we will take someone with us.

It is 100% proof positive that God is in my heart, and I want the Lord in my life every day because He enhances my life. I live to be with the Lord some day when He chooses to take me, until then I seek knowledge and wisdom from the Bible on a daily basis
Judging others is not right ,because God will be the final judge. We can learn from others and add what we believe to be right to our lives. We should respect other people and love one another.
a lot of non atheists dont get that caught up by religion.for some atheists their atheism takes on a fanatasism to the point of being like a defacto religion.for some others its a way to justify anything they do as they feel there is no right or wrong for society there is only what is right or wrong for them.all sorts of people regardless of their religion or lack of are judgemental, its not resticted to christians.all religions are based on "faith" rather then hard proof, thats why its called "faith".of course being an atheist also requires 'faith' that there is nothing past this life because atheism isnt based on any hard proof either.just because you choose to not believe in some concept of a God,or gods or goddesses or some combination thereof doesnt mean he,she, they dont exist.
While I cannot prove God to you I KNOW he's real and is with me like I know I'm typing this sentence right now! So to say "why let it run my life" I say because I cannot deny He is here with me, and I am changed! I am not the same...no where near the old me. Nor, do I desire to ever go back! Life is good with God. Speaking from experience, life without God has an appearence of being good, but when the rubber hits the road it's unsatisfactory living IMO.

I'd say life is good without God, but I can't prove it any more than you can.

Of course life without God is good for some people. However, many people living with poverty, hunger, or abuse will disagree that life is good. But, most who have faith in God know life is good and precious regardless of their circumstances.
