Ah yes, back to the child like logic you cleave to so....... blindly.

A majority of the population in the US call themselves christian, but that does not make the US a christian nation.

A majority of the population in the US are female, but that does not make the US a female nation.

A majority of the population in the US are caucasian, but that does not make the US a caucasian nation.

One should be very careful when making such generalizations, for it is estimated that by 2050 caucasian's will be a minority in the US.

And THAT is the real truth as to how things REALLY ARE.

Guess I gotta hip you all to it AGAIN:
In the "Arena of World Influence", ad pop is The Champion!!

You like FACTS?...try THAT one.

Don't like the REALITY of that FACT?...oh, well!!

It must cause actual physical pain to be that fricking clueless...... or it should

When atheists usually post billboards and other non-belief or "myth" stuff, it mainly includes Christianity, and during the Christmas/Holiday season, it targets Christmas.

Why are they afraid to post "myth" stuff about Judaism and Islam?
I think they are scared because they know how strong Muslims and Jewish are, and what consequenses they will get for doing it, while poor Christians does not usually do anything about it.

This is ridiculous!

PS! I'm not Christian myself, but it's very unfair. If you are going to post stuff about something, INCLUDE all religions, or leave them alone and keep your own beliefs to yourself.
Atheist should respect that they live in a country where close to 80% are Christians (some states even higher %). Keep in mind that the U.S. has the world's largest Christian population.
U make an excellent point, I never really thought about it before. Maybe because they struggle more with the causes of Christianity than any other religions or faith. There are certain behaviors and acts that are socially acceptable, but are Biblically immoral. I suppose attacking the validity of Christianity and the authority of the Holy Bible is the best way to try to make wrong right.

What does "what is written" or "laws" have to do with anything more than what the authors wrote? That doesn't necessarily determine "THE REALITY of WHAT IS".

The 18th Amendment mandated a national ban on the sale, manufacture, and transportation of alcohol...it was "the law of the land"...but people didn't follow it.
So, was this a "Nonboozing Nation" just because some men wrote that's what they thought it should be legally mandated to be? Or, was it a "Booze Drinking Nation" because that what it actually was in REALITY?

You use the same "logic" here as the fundie Bible/Quran Literalists--"NO! Read the Bible, read the Quran. Learn the facts about how the world and people are, not the BS you hear from Atheists."

See, Ash...What is written by men is nothing more than "words on paper"...it doesn't determine REALITY.

If you think acknowledging "What Really Is" and "How Things Actually are In Reality", over what a handful of people wrote in some book or document, or how a small minority of people wish things would be, is "child like logic"...it's YOU that's clueless.

Things are what they actually are...not what some people write that they would like them to be, or what they think would be their concept of the ideal.

What is, IS. And at this time...this country IS a Christian Nation...regardless of what some wrote about what it does, or doesn't, have to be. Don't like that?...oh, well!
If it ever actually isn't...then it won't be...but not until then...even if people write a trillion pages about some "ideal concept" or enact some ordinances.
Meanwhile, those that aren't cool with that REALITY will just have to learn to "deal with it"...or, they can always move somewhere that has a society with a theological proclivity more to their liking, so they won't have to be surrounded by people that have a mindset they don't find acceptable.

A cat can have kittens in an oven, but that don't make them biscuits.

Using your child like reasoning ability, we are also a white female nation.

Yup. And what ever else we ACTUALLY are.

Just like the necklace I bought one of my favorite girlfriends for Christmas is referred to as a "gold" necklace...because it's mostly (14K) gold. There is a lot of other metal in it...but is is defined by it's dominant composition.

And my favorite bar to have a couple of drinks in is referred to as a "biker" bar...because most of the patrons are bikers. There are patrons that go there that aren't bikers...but the bar is defined by that common trait of the majority of it's customers.

This is just a couple of the jillions of examples I could cite to support my contention.
Because that's how things ACTUALLY work in the REAL world. It's the REALITY of how it REALLY IS.

Ya know, there is one thing you are right about Ash: You could call it "child like reasoning"...since even a child would typically be capable of the required deductive/cognitive ability to fully understand it.

Another reason may very well be because most atheist are removed from the dangers that Islam invoke. You'd think that 9/11 and the January London bombings would wake the rest of us up.

What dangers? You mention two attacks and now all of a sudden we should fear the "muslim menace". Yes they are ********s but pretty much isolated to their own crap holes they live in.

We do counteract their claims of religion of peace frequently but they just fade away rather quickly.
