A true story about a girl who would fall asleep in the fields around her grandparent's farm at night during summers. They'd lock the doors after 10:00 or so...so she'd be stuck out there until morning. She'd frequently awaken wet from rain. Evidently falling asleep in those fields was worth it all...or she wouldn't have kept doing it.

thank you!

Even for a beach loving Floridian transplant like me Colorado has a certain appeal!

The night sky at this altitude is amazing. We live far from city lights and enjoy an unobstructed view, horizon to horizon. The starlight alone is bright, the vast expanse of the Milky Way, constellations, meteor showers. All are breathtaking.

Art in general.

That we've developed to the point that we have time to think about what it's all about, and then to express our thoughts about it, that is profound.

I sometimes joke that, as an atheist, I don't use the Christian Bible or Jewish Bible or anything like that, I use the Human Bible - the entirety of human writing. If a Bible is just a collection of books, why not just throw them all in there? You'll get a lot more out of life, even if you only get to read a fraction of them.

And that's just the written word.
