"He is a fool that says there is no god". You guys read a book everyday that makes mention of us godless heathens in it. Why are we not allowed to make threads doing the same? Is the heat in the kitchen gettin' to ya?
I thought I accidently clicked on the atheist section.
Seems most of the posters here are atheists and half of the threads bash religion or mock those who believe in spiritual things.
Must be the time of year. Or the impending End-Of-The-World
They're funny that way. Guess that's what having no life looks like. You have to go try to pick fights about something you supposedly don't believe in. Kind of pathetic, actually.

Picking a fight? Fighting with a Christian over their beliefs, is like fighting a man with no arms. The poor, armless guy never had a chance.
Is this the section of CD where one talks about religion? And Spirituality?
I thought it was. I don't see why there can't be threads each devoted to both those who do believe and those who don't.
I see no purpose in bashing either side. There will always be a division but it doesn't mean there can't be respectful dialog amongst us. While I am one who does believe in God and has a deep faith in Him, I don't question those who don't. I don't call them names, I don't belittle them for how they feel. They are free to believe (or not believe) in what they want. In fact, I'm ashamed of those who do claim to believe in God, yet say the most horrible things to the people who don't. I often wonder if they think God approves of how they act and speak. I'd bet money that He doesn't.
Keep trying, Mr5150. Just try to overlook the nasty comments.

No, actually various atheists discuss the various beliefs of Christians and the effects that they have on daily life now and throughout history throughout the entire year.
If you were among thousands of people who believed that the moon is giving them telepathic instructions, you would also likely discuss this phenomenon with others who also think the belief is peculiar and a bit hard to understand.
