I'd hate them throwing snakes at me, I am out of there.

Exactly, in other words, believe in what you hope for. Do you ever use this philosophy in any other aspect of your life? Do you truly believe your car is a BMW simply because you hope for it?

Thrill you know I am with you on your thoughts regarding the spirit of fundementalism, and how it does the very opposite to what Jesus came to do,to set the people free from their fears, and to live in and by the peace of God. It is a repulsive spirit that makes those who are bound by it children of hell. It is easily recognizable in those bound by it, for they all speak from the same place, which is by the letter of the scriptures instead of by the spirit of the scriptures.

The verse you are quoting does not say faith does not see.Faith actually does see, it sees things in the unseen

we not looking to the things seen, but to the things not seen; for the things seen are temporary, but the things not seen are age-during.

If we are not seeing it, we simply cannot put our faith in it. All those mentioned in Hebrews 11 saw something in the un seen realm and acted in faith upon it.
