You make the mistake of attributing a human characteristic to an animal.
They are only subject to theft, because you believe you own it.
If one does not own a thing it cannot be stolen.
Lions do not hunt after hyenas when they are not after their food. Man wages war with everything and everyone that uses the same resources as him.
He even hunts it into extermination.
No other animal does this. Simply because it is not cost effective.
Okie-dokie. Cumbaya!
(No ill-intent with the sarcasm, TD, but what began as a rebuttal to the claim that other animals don't have a sense of ownership has been twisted into waging war and other irrelevant topics.)

No harm, no faul.
But I can't help it if you don't like the answers.
It's not that I don't like them; it's that war, hunting, etc. are irrelevant to the fact that other animals have a sense of ownership. This sense of "property" cannot be denied, regardless of how one parses words or changes the subject.

Have you ever lived in the jungle, or with a primitive tribe?
You'll be amazed how different that is, and what is and is not possible outside modern society.

Irrelevant, TD!
The fact is that other animals have a sense of ownership. Try taking food from a bear, and this fact will soon be apparent to you.
So my experiences are irrelevant to your beliefs?
You might as well say that I'm irrelevant.
As a matter of fact you just did.
I'll trust my own experiences over your 'knowledge' any day my friend.

Oh brother.
Okie-dokie, TD. I was right the first time around.
