well that's true, because,

Now that's a first class example of the 'Keyword - response' exegesis.
As you know, the thumpers have chapter and verse to answer just about everything you or I might come up with. I especially love it when one makes a statement and gets hit with 30 citations of versus from hither and yon which add up to a predetermined conclusion. Never mind that those citations may reflect 2000 years of writings.
Yes; my point is that citing a Bible quote that has something about being naked in it looks like it is an answer, but in fact it answers nothing. I think in some cases it is a kneejerk -foolproof way of coming back with something that at least keeps the ball in play rather than fail to return it - which means that it looks horribly like a lost point - and in the 'one shot win' mentality of theist apologetics, not one single point can be conceded, because that highlights the fallacy of the underlying belief that all these answers are from God.

I used to believe this (although it's more commonly put as "relationship" so that it's a nice alliterative pair with "religion", and avoids the problem that much of Christianity doesn't put an emphasis on a supposed vital "personal relationship" with god).
But ask yourself: how would you possibly tell the difference? "God's way of reaching man" is just an assertion of dogma, not a reality in itself. And dogma is man's notions about god and his requirements. So we're back to man reaching for god.
As you will see from previous replies religion has given true christianity a bad name lots of lies and confusion pertaining to religion, reaching God is nothing to do with religion its to do with relationship, many claim to be christian yet are stuck in false religion Jesus said come out my people lest you share in her destruction, religion is man made not God made.
