Would you make that same argument if it involved pologamy or consensual incest unions? The bottom line is you are demanding that I accept the secular beliefs that SSM is equal to heterosexual marriage and I reject that belief.
The fact that you refer to our beliefs as "idiocy" only shows that you have NO respect for freedom of religion.
No one is demanding that you accept anything. You are certainly free to believe as you wish.
Almost a 1,000 replies and the vast majority being anti-Christian. Really sad.
The majority of the posts are from Christians. Why are you calling them anti Christians? Because they don't believe as you do? You shouldn't judge or label people.
It's not anti-christian, it's pro common sense. She didn't do her job. It's her beliefs that she thinks trumps law. Religion has no place in politics, as has been said time and time again.
I don't care what she believes, I don't care if she worships a cat that lives behind her house, but when those beliefs interfere with civil law, it's a problem.
You do realize, of course, that the Bible is actually 66 different books, right? So it's not just one book talking about itself...but 66 books....talking about each other. But I'm sure you realized that....
Yes, many of the them do refer to one another. And contradict one another so frequently that you can make just about any argument you want, about any subject you like, and support it with a bible quote.

If you attack the Bible and Christian beliefs, yea I kinda see that as being anti-Christian. The really disturbing thing is that most people here had no problem at all with this woman being tossed in jail because of her faith. That tells me that the same indifference would exist if all Bible believing Christians were thrown in prison.

How dense does someone have to be....
She wasn't thrown in jail because if her beliefs. She was jailed for BREAKING THE LAW.

She was NOT jailed for her faith. She was jailed for her contempt of court and refusal to do her job in violation of a court order to do so. Stop deluding yourself it was about her faith. It was her contempt for our laws and our court.
