The last church I went to was absolutely against masturbation, especially in the balcony..

Personally I have not heard, in recent history, of a church actually teaching about masturbation, either pro or con. When I was little I went to my friend's church (Catholic) a number of times and when I was married to my first husband we went to church (also Catholic), and I never recall hearing any talk about masturbation. If I had I'd definitely have remembered it, LOL. That would have been a surprise.
I DO remember some over-religious parents telling their kids how evil masturbation was. But never an actual church.
More seriously, what I meant was why in this whole thread has the subject been considered as only a male issue? think about it.
As a woman, I do not think of masturbation as an issue for anyone. Unless of course one masturbates till they go blind, or grow hair on their fingers, or...... Maybe that is why they worry about it. They are typing with hairy fingers.
