Believing in your religion and practicing it are two different things. Hitler was a Catholic, whether he practiced or not. He still had faith in the God that is taught in Catholicism. If Hitler wasn't a real Catholic, then Bin-Laden isn't a real Muslim. That's not the case though. Like I said, believing and following are two different things.

There are so many contradictions in his statements at various times that it can be tough to get much of grip on his theological stance, if any. While he was born into the Catholic Church and actually did receive some support of sorts from Rome, Catholicism was hardly the driving force behind his actions.

There would be war without religion. Many of us just see that there have been ridiculous killings committed in the name of religion. There will always be war. That's human nature.
