Is it possible that Secular humanists and Believers use the same system of morality in some areas, or does believing in God and his designed system of right and wrong collide with a secular humanists, or do secular humanists appreciate the system of love and morals that are at least written if not lived by believers.

They are values that we all happen to share, a society where its people go about stealing or killing each other without any consequence simply would have too much anarchy to remain for long

THen these values are for self preservation and a happy peaceful life?
I'm not atheists but I find that they seem to be unable to grasp anything that is "not" concrete about God, but the abstract is everything to them when it comes to science. they seem to apply the complex, deep, and transcendent to science, BUT they are not able to pierce, and distinquish past science into the spiritual.
Personally I have to have something of substance to base any belief on whether it's science, politics or anything else. I'm not interested in believing something just because it feels good, it's fun or because that's how I want it to be. I'm honestly interested in knowing what's true. When people talk about spirituality and various religious beliefs I just don't see a solid foundation that confirms that they're talking about anything that's real. I realize that individuals pursue these questions in different ways but I could never accept something as astounding as the resurrection of Jesus without some really convincing evidence, in fact I'd need a full forensic workup like you'd find presented in a courtroom. Of course we'll never have that kind of evidence for such an event and I find the same lack of evidence for every claim that religion makes.
Its been fun reading your satire, it shows a common bond among non believers.
So all of you that post on this religion and philosophy forum. Have no religion and no philosophy.
What is the goal? Each one of you are separate, yet joined in purpose as unbelievers, spreading unbelief. What is that all about?
Is there a need for a non believer science driven forum?
godspeed,
freedom
No philosophy?? I do not think that word means what you think it means.
