My request is to leave me and others who don’t ask for your help alone.

I’m not finding excuses to not walk though something that I don’t believe. I don’t believe in your god thing, I don’t care, and I take great offense at your pushing your beliefs on me and others.

You can lead a christian to logic, but you can’t make them think.

We are sorry if it seems like we are pushing our beliefs on you, but God's message is urgent. It is out of love. God's gospel is a gospel that screams love. This is a love that is overwhelming, I mean it, completely overwhelming. Please don't pass this up, I beg of you, please. His salvation is available to everyone who chooses to accept it.

Neither will hating on your brother. If you are a Christian, I preach the same gospel that you do. The only thing that is good in me is God in me. I will not defend myself beyond that. Let God judge me on whether or not I am self-righteous, for He will judge all my actions.

When Jesus was on the earth did he say: "Let's discuss each others beliefs"

Did Paul ask: "What is it do you believe?"

NO. They said this is the truth and here is what you need to do.

Christians have become too soft.

What happen to the boldness?

It is a fact that the books of the prophets were written long before the gospels of Jesus Christ. Jesus fulfilled every prophecy about the Messiah (there are around 362 of them). So the fact is there is evidence, your just not willing to accept it.
right well make a thread post your evidence and I'll look at it trying to explain as clear as i can what i find wrong with it. I'm not so closed minded that i would go "nah nah nah, not listening" but if the jews have no reason to believe, then it just might be that the evidence is not as good as you think it is. Saying "but it is amazing" ad nauseum doesn't convince people

We choose not to accept fairy tales. Leave us alone. Jeez, you’re stalkers.

This is a thread about atheism uncovered, not the rude but my god is the right god thread.

When we ask you to keep your god stuff to yourselves, you push your religious garbage just like scooter did.

We ask that you leave us alone. You choose to ignore requests by the people you’re preaching to. Pretty rude. I can see that it’s not attraction but promotion for Christianity.

Most of us were raised christian, that’s why we don’t practice it now.
Please respect our wishes.

We are just like you only with out the gullibility, fear of unknown authority, and wiliness to as questions what is told to us. If the Briggs Meyers personality testing system is right we may fall into several specific personality areas, which not only question authority, but also take action to live without input from what we don’t accept. I suspect that is why you see most of our founding fathers and a good number of history’s movers and shakers in the non believer section.

Yes, this is the kind of boxed question I myself would have asked when I was a christian pastor.

This sort of question is based on the idea that there is something such as ATHEISM which ATHEIST practice, of course it is a "religion" and takes "faith" not to believe in a god (LOL)

But here is the truth, there is not such things as atheism. NO set of beliefs, no statement of faith, no weekly worship that pastor meetings.

The word theist means god and the letter A means with out, therefore the word ATHEIST means without god, or better said without belief in god. Gnostic means knowledge and again the letter A means without, so the word AGNOSTIC means without knowledge and in this case without knowledge of god.

One speaking of BELIEF and the other of KNOWLEDGE.

I am personally and ATHEIST, I do not believe gods are real. But them again, I am agnostic in that my lack of belief is only with the gods of mans imaginations, such as jesus and allah.

Does every atheist feel the same way, NO !

So to answer your questions, each atheist stands for what he stands for and is against what he is against. The ONLY commonality, is our lack of beliefs in gods.

But I do understand how hard it is for religious people NOT to try to box everyone into the same world view as they have, being so arogent in thinking their religious world is the only one.

No boxing, just asking, and you've explained yourself very well, thanks,

godspeed,

I am so sick of this "Don't preach to us" scapegoat on the forums. Give me a break. EVERY worldview preaches. How many times do atheist come into a Christian thread and PREACH their beliefs. People say Christians are close-minded... Never have I rejected a discussion with another belief system.
