I think when we say this is a nation founded on Christianity, some think that it was an orthodox style, when it was actually a seperatist form, the Puritans were not part of the English orthodox and desired to have personal revelation, which unfortunately allowed for charismatic domineering individuals to move in and force their form or doctrine upon those that were not strong enough to stay on the path of a direct relationship with God.

They did create moral order, and set standards of acceptable behavior, in order to slow the process of sensualism with the new found freedoms from the organized clergy and their oppressions.
Anyone that has ever traveled understands the what happens here stays here weaknesses that can creep in.

Freedom, in order to be a Freemason one must believe in a Supreme Being, not necessarily Jesus Christ. Freemasons do not exclude someone because they don't believe in Christ. It also doesn't exclude those that believe in Christ. So your statement that "Freemasons believe in Christ" is only true for those Freemasons who are/were Christian.

Old Testament. New Testament. Everywhere. I'm not going to go search for the verses, you're the believer here, you should know the Bible, not me.

As for wars always being fought for territory, treasure and revenge, what kind of fantasy world are you living in? Seems very romantic, but here in the real world we have religious wars, ethnic wars, and people who are just plain *******s that want to fight.

A conservative estimate of 6000 people died in the most heinous ways. It appalls me to see how Christians think that it's no big deal.

...and, the USA got into a religiously-begun war just this decade over far fewer deaths than that.

That's exactly what I said, no big deal...I didn't exactly see you condemning and mourning the atheist Communist's killing of 100 million.

There are no wars waged in the new testament that involve man on man.
Just Holy spirit vs. Evil spirits. Old testament wars were fought over territory and freedom.

First, you asked where. As in, where in the Bible are the Christian "principles" I pointed out. Seriously, what is wrong with your reading comprehension abilities?

The Balkan wars of the early freaking nineties, goddamn it. Or, how about the FRENCH WARS OF RELIGION. That's right, the wars are literally called THE FRENCH WARS OF RELIGION. OF RELIGION. Not the French Wars of territory and booty and sweet sweet revenge, the French Wars of RELIGION.
