Hey, I'm not a dude! And I still don't get your comment???? And I still stand by my statement...in many ways we each create our own reality or maybe it's in many ways our own reality creates us....or did I just say the same thing?
I would disagree. Absolute truth does not exist. Only approximations to the truth. The true nature of existence remains a mystery. Hence the original post and all the ensuing posts.....
"Absolute truth" does not exist????? Really????? Here are just some absolute truths, for example, that NO ONE can disagree about:
1. We humans (and a host of other species) need food, water, oxygen, and sleep in order to live instead of to be dead.
2. Humans (and nearly all other species, except for a very select few that exemplify "asexual reproduction") can only beget life through sexual union (copulation) between male and female. There is no other way (neither two males nor two females can beget life together).
3. Gravity is a true, real phenomenon that permeates existence (though its level of force can or will vary).
4. The universe consists of varying forms, modalities, and types of energy. Even matter itself is a form that energy takes sometimes, when said energy takes on the properties of mass (which means "atomic weight and structure") and matter can be manifested as solid or liquid or gaseous or plasma and intermediary states between these states.
5. All living things will die at some point in time (i.e, death appears to be an absolute). As to whether anything transpires for us after our death, there is no way that any of us can (thus far) speak authoritatively about this matter. All anyone can ever truly offer up on the subject are speculations and faith propositions.
6. Living organisms ALL need to excrete waste products (of one form or another) that are a result of their necessary consumption of foodstuffs. No exceptions.
7. New York City is a larger city (in population, in occupied land area, in density of development) than, say, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania (USA) or Lausanne, Switzerland and a great great great great great multitude of other cities around the world.
As you can well imagine, I could go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on . . . ad infinitum with examples of "absolute truth". These are all undeniable examples of "absolute truths". The entire capacity of the Internet wouldn't have enough space to hold all that can be offered up as examples of "absolute truths".

Lol, don't get your toes in a twist, I am willing to admit that you can create any kinda fantasy reality you wish, most of the people I know like to invent their own history, and so you are in the majority, everyone gets to believe as they wish.

You are not ‘creating’ reality - merely expressing your opinion (your ‘relative truth’/belief).
That is not as certain a judgment about reality as you seem to think given quantum theory.
It was in response to her opinion/personal belief; it’s not necessary to ‘throw confetti in the air’ in an attempt to sidetrack attention from a simple ‘black and white’ point as it pertains to this thread. It’s her opinion/belief in a forum, which she is entitled to have.
