Again, it is not a question of right or wrong, for me personally.....
Why not?
The greatest spiritual quest ever is the Quest for Truth.

The point is to introduce reflection and introspection; to open eyes; to initiate the process of examination; to question; and to stimulate real analysis.
Just by reading posts, you can see that some people are totally terrified, so much so that they refuse to examine the original source documents. Instead they insist upon relying on questionable modified documents, like the Textus Receptus on which the King James Version is based.

But, that's not the Wiccan philosophy. They did not develop that, they merely plagiarized and appropriated it from other much older sources.
That hearkens back to what I said above, because, for example, nearly all of the Genesis is just a plagiarized abridged version of much older sources.

Why this penchant for portraying the syncretistic similarities that accrued over centuries and millennia as plagiarism? There is a natural evolution of cognitive structures just as there is a natural evolution of physical characteristics. I see in the similarities the influence of God effectuating the cognitive efforts to explain or understand God and our purpose for existing.

If you say so

Not seeking universal truth, personally, just my own truth

Sounds like work

Sounds like too much work

The nerve of those people!

Reason: Trying to highlight responses
Multiple responses that were thought out, directed at you, and ignored. Well done, Unicorn! You stay in that bubble! Don't let anyone ever try to to make you think!

I think Unicorn has trouble with the quote function. He replied within the quoted text but didn't highlight, or otherwise separate, his replies from the post he was quoting.
I'm a she, actually! And I apologize, I don't know how to do that quote/answer thing! And I'm sorry if you don't think I can think, but one thing I do know, is I seriously don't care what you think of me. Didn't come on here to gain anyone's approval.

Oh, I see now. Not in the habit of looking in the quoted portion for the answer...

If you want to break it up, you have to copy and paste the first portion of the quote (the part that has the posters name) in front of every new portion you want to quote, and the copy and past the last part (the part that just says /QUOTE) at the end. In other words, it would look something like this (not exact obviously, or it would be showing as a quoted post....)
[QUOTE/Unicorn hunter;12345678] I'm a she, actually! [/quote]

Maybe that will help you out.
As for the content of your posts, well... If you aren't out for actual truth, but instead only out for "your truth" (whatever that means) then thinking and learning are obviously not TOO high on your list...
Thanks for the advice on copy/pasting! And yes, I am only out for my own truth....and I seriously don't understand why that disturbs you so much. I don't know how many times I can state that I am not here to argue or try to change anyone's strongly or even weakly, held beliefs/opinions. And actually, just for the record, thinking and learning are high on my list, but I am not actually all that interested in the atheist/believer battle that seems to be going on here. I fail to see why you must stoop to insults in any case.

I am with ya.
and never compare claims side by side to see what ones are more valid. It kind of ruins the war that fundy theist and milli atheist want so bad. They both have some truths to beat us over the head with so that we can be saved.
