One way to love your neighbor is to respect their opinions and assume there is some truth, however strongly you may disagree. To make an effort to look at their perspective objectively.

I see the opposite of that happening these days. Atheists assume believers are ignorant and superstitious, Democrats assume Republicans are ignorant and selfish. Etc.

Maybe one of the very best ways to love your neighbor isn't to give them food and money. Maybe it's to give them respect and search for common ground.

We have 13 apartments in our building and I LIKE all my apt friends. One friend causes stress in my life, but I wish her no harm and hope she finds her healings.

May I ask what dictum are you referencing that one is supposed to 'love thy neighbor"?
You know, just so we're on the same page, here

Out with the Theist -English phrase -book "Atheists, shut up and go away, or at least stop showing up our plonking faith -claims as worthless".

"Respect" is the thin edge of blasphemy law,

"agree to differ" is an attempt to scrape a draw when one is losing.

It is an offence to the Theists that atheists even exist. For us to dare to speak out is persecution of them.

This maybe something that you need to believe because atheism is a nothing burger for most people.

Best way to love your neighbor is to let go of all ought , and always pray blessing from God on all your neighbors were ever you go ..... See when you pray for people then you are supporting the with the charity of Gods blessings , so when you support them it is easier to love them also

Apparently the way to show love, according to God4Nothin is to put down those you don't agree with, even to fabricate lies about them,

I think I probably show more respect to most religious folks on the forums then the OP appears t9 show towards any atheist. Perhaps OP should lead by example instead if attacking strawmen

No. The direction given was to love thy neighbor as you love yourself.
You simply don't know how to love yourself.
Until you learn that, you can't love others.

So true. But the atheists are so loud, especially on the internet, you would think they were a majority. No, just a pitiful tiny little minority. So sad.
