Based on the prayer, I would probably be ignoring him, too.

My wife's parents also took her to those kinds of things and she and her sister were scared, too. Thankfully, they did come to the Lord later in life.

I'm sorry that some people only know nonsense like this as Christianity. I really am.

^ That's how you see it. Maybe someday you'll take off those glued blinders and actually see through other's eyes. Until then, we'll continue to ignore your skewed and alarmist extremism. You're not convincing anyone of anything here.

As long as you and others like you on this group contribute to the 500 pages of bigotry on that other thread, I can see why.

I don't know any Christians like that. But you're correct when you say that perception is reality.

I remember one time sitting in an assembly of god church meeting once and was right behind the preacher's kid who was probably 12 or 13 at that time. I glanced over his shoulder and while his dad was preaching. The kid was drawing caricatures of his dad and other big shots in the church. They were actually quite well done.

I thought his dad was pretty much an arrogant buffoon. From the looks of the drawings it appeared that the kid did as well.
