Just dropping in to remind myself that there still are people that know how to interact with dignity and mutual respect. It is good to see those who appreciate individual differences and can walk alongside others with no need or desire to change the other.

Brother Woodrow, good to see you here, I guess every once in a while you need to take a break from all the craziness in the rest of this world and sit around the sacred fire to calm one's mind and restore one's faith in humanity.

It's been a while for me to greet you all. I must admit I've been busy.........but that isn't a good excuse. I spent a few weeks in Houston this year. I few nights at Miami Beach. And I am so very glad they think this area is just fly over land. I am glad all those people have a place they like......as long as it isn't here.

I have to go to Holland in a few weeks. My partner is from there and her mom is in her 80's and she hasn't been there in 17 years. I do not look forward to that trip, although I may try out some of their weed.....I know, its cheaper to go to Colorado, but I may need it with the population and all.

anyhow, just stopped in to say hi, and I promise I will be here more than I have been.

Nice to see you, Goodpasture. Holland is a very nice country. I'm sure you'll enjoy your trip once there. Look forward to hearing about it.

you know the other day I had an interesting situation happen. I live outside a small town in Southeastern Ohio in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains were most of the people are farm people, the little town has two traffic lights, one at each end, well the other day I just happened to be in town at one of those traffic lights and I looked around and every single vehicle in that intersection at the traffic light was a pickup truck, I had a pickup truck directly across from me a pickup truck to my right and a pickup truck to my left and a pickup truck behind me and of course I'm driving a pickup truck. Only in a farming community will you see such a thing...

My nearest town, about 15 miles away, has yours beat by one traffic light.

And if folks up here aren't driving pickups, they're driving SUVs of various description. Just about everybody has AWD, a near necessity in winter.

When you say "beat" do you mean it has one MORE or one LESS? From MY standpoint it would be the latter.
