Why did God create humans in a way where we desire sex on a regular basis (at least most of us do) whole fully knowing so many people for whatever reason (be it loneliness, depression, self esteem, poverty) list goes on and on will not be good enough to get "married" at least officially and in a way that's righteous under God's eyes? Makes no sense. Mid 20s hormones raging. Still single. Probably never going to get married.

So why? I don't want the usual responses of "he created you so you just worship him". I want told legitimate reasons why I was given no talents to succeed in life and then be burden with a really high sex drive that I cant use because I was born in poverty and trauma.
When I was around your age I felt pretty much the way you describe yourself. I would say that being an atheist made things a lot easier for me but that would be for me - your mileage might vary.

I would just like to ask you;

Where in the bible does it state that it is wrong to watch porn?

Would you like to know what I was taught? I was taught not to waste my seed but to rather go to a prostitute! I kid you not. This was Christian stuff. Anyway, where is a schoolboy supposed to get the money for a prostitute? Besides, it kinda defeats the STD's prevention thing.

Does it actually state in the bible that to have sex before marriage is wrong? I don't mean that it's a sin, but that it is wrong? Does it even state anywhere that to sin is wrong? I know that Christian doctrine states that sex is a sin but does it state that to sin is wrong? Perhaps you would care to look it up and let me know?

I'm not Christian. I'm Muslim. I think in some of the letters of Paul, he says to not indulge in sexual immorality. But in other places he said, "it's better to marry than to burn with passion". Jesus also condemned pre marital sex when he said, "anybody who looks at a woman lustfully has committed adultery in his heart". Contextually and logically men are going to look at women with lust. Jesus meant those who of you aren't married too.

But, I can't afford to marry and never will so I guess I'll just stay single since that's how God wanted it to be. It's not even just sex too. It's the loneliness of knowing you're going to be single for your whole life. Connecting with the opposite sex is what I'm wanting.

Islamically it's a sin to have pre marital sex. Forget what I want or desire. Looking at it generally, religions want people to marry. Yet, these days many won't marry due to rising living costs and other issues associated with money. So what do people who fall into this category do? Nothing but complain I guess. Or and try to control their desires which come about nearly every day.

Problem with God about sex is that it attracts the demonic spirit, like hordum , groin demon, that these spirit can create back pain problems and the fallen angels like sodomy, and harlot types can be invited, most of these create an isolation from God.

Maybe you should consider converting to Christianity. You can marry for free. No money required, just love

let455, I know nothing about Islam doctrine. I was born into Christian doctrine but I rejected it at a young age. That puts us on a different spectrum but I still understand your position and I sympathize. I cannot advise you and it is not my right to dissuade you from your beliefs but perhaps if you look into things you may find a compromise? I do not believe that a man should suffer from the way he is by nature (you may prefer to call it created in) due to the circumstances he finds himself in. Is it really in the doctrine of your religion to suffer these inequalities of life? We are who we are and we were made that way.

I come from a religious family (my great grandfather was a bishop and my grandfather a missionary) but I cannot claim to know that much about the religion I was born into but then maybe I know more than I realize. I have had Muslim friends who were good people and I never heard any one of them judge or condemn anyone for their chosen lifestyle.

How is that even relevant and I don't see what you're even implying. Regardless of background or beliefs, to do things you need money. Lots of it too depending on your circumstances sometimes more.

I recall hearing it is a sin not to believe that God will provide.

So yes, if you doubt God, He will show you and give you exactly what you expect: nothing.

Yeah nah I don't agree. Never bought that whole god will provide thing. I can't see God. I can't feel him..he doesn't talk to me. Lots of people believe in God and are faithful and live ordinary mediocre and unhappy lives. The whole, "God gives to those who are faithful" is a bunch of bs. It's all subjective too.

W-W-WHAT?! I'd say, you gotta be kidding me, but I KNOW you're not!

And the person (people?) who told you that were supposedly CHRISTIAN?

Would love to know what chapter and verse they got THAT idea from!

(*waves to Guy *)
