So whoever or whatever made the planets in our solar system move in an orbit, must have understood the mechanics of making things move in an orbit? If yes, then this “whatever” must have intelligence, as per your logic. If yes, then you and I agree.
And then put some 10 kilometer wide rocks in orbit near the earth, just for a joke. Oh, you should have seen those BIG brontosaurs flying through the air 65 million years ago. They never expected THAT.
Not obvious at all. Sure, something might have existed outside of the universe that created it but it's not obviously an intelligent creator. It is more likely to have been a pair of mega massive black holes that collided head on (the collision energy is need to trigger the big bang). Nothing resembling intelligence in that. Where those mega massive black holes came from would be a mystery just like where the 'obvious' intelligent being's origin would be a mystery. But with space and time at the quantum level, matter and energy can come about without violating the law of conservation of energy.
Obviously it's a personal creator. Meaning an intelligent being that created it. This being is not part of the universe, as it could not have caused itself to exist. It exists outside the universe.

current theories like inflation, branes, quantum foam can make it seem like there is an "outside". Also, we can define our universe in terms of light cones, then that might seem like an outside too.
but in the end, like you deist god, their deity god and branes have little to no evidence.
More plausible and evidence-based than any notion of the universe or matter being "alive" is idealism, the notion that consciousness is the fundamental "stuff" of the reality we experience. See Bernardo Kastrup's The Idea of the World, which I have referenced several times and which addresses idealism in a series of peer-reviewed articles across many scientific disciplines.
The question is really one of the ultimate origin. The theory of the universe or matter being "alive" doesn't address the ultimate origin in any way that is fundamentally different from naturalistic atheism. You can say no more than "That's just the way things are and always have been."
The ultimate origin of the universe and of life remain just as big a puzzle as they ever were. No theory is falsifiable. All we can do is reason to the most plausible explanation. Along with GoCardinals, I believe an intelligent designer is the most plausible explanation for what we can observe, investigate and analyze with the tools available to us.
Even Intelligent Design theory doesn't get us much past the point of "That's just the way things are and always have been." Hence the notion of Christianity that God is the eternal uncaused cause. But even if the Intelligent Designer were a cosmic teenager with a cosmic Lego kit, we're never going to be able to observe, investigate or analyze that.
For what I believe are sound and evidence-based reasons, I believe an intelligent designer is the most plausible explanation, idealism is the most plausible framework for how that "works," and the God of Christianity is the most plausible of candidates for the intelligent designer.

We can make our best guesses with observation and data. I'm going with 4 because I doubt our monkey brains would ever figure it out. Our best chance would be for an AI to figure it out for us or for some Intelligent Alien species to discover us and show us. I'd like to believe it would be number 2.
