Yes, of course. And we do pray for others as well. But that only soothes us, it is a psychological and spiritual effect only for us. The person we pray for still have to walk in their own shoes, experience their life their own way, find their salvation their own way. We can show them love and compassion and offer help and support, but no, we all walk our own individual paths, work out our own karma.
Spirituality is a connection with the spiritual realm. You can't be an atheist be spiritual because it invalidates their belief. Spirituality involves belief, so if you believe in nothing there's no way you can be described as spiritual.

i agree that it benefits ourself when we pray for others.
but i also recognize the immense power of the human consciousness to effect change and benefit others as well. and that power increases exponentially when a group of people pray together.

It is particularly powerful when ALL the participants are truly sincerely believing prayer warriors and not just going along for social reasons.
