on another thread someone described it this way, like a tree with many branches. If there is a picture of a tree with many branches, and the trunk of the tree is covered up, then all a person sees are a bunch of separate individual branches. But individual branches don't have to do anything or attain anything or conquer anything or wish hope dream to become part of the tree. They already are. That is the Oneness which is recognized by many paths of religion and spirituality.
Trees exist. Some see only branches, some see the single tree. Same for humanity.
Are you aware that many sects of Christainty demands that branches that don't bear fruit must be cut off?
