Is it true that in Heaven God would be giving us a mansion in the city and a house in the country for being accepted in the Gates of Heaven? I am a believer of God and Jesus Christ and I've been thinking an awful lot about Heaven, God and Jesus Christ and I am really amazed that Heaven is a much better place than here on Earth and when I was younger I used to think that being rich and wealthy here on Earth was much better than going to Heaven.

I have never knew what a wonderful place Heaven would be until when I've gotten older.

Heaven is a place not bound by reality so everything is possible there, which essentially makes the concept of heaven impractical for reality.

I am in heaven every time I am true to myself, which is much harder than it sounds.
Generally people pretend to be someone they are not, simply because they believe that their 'image' (the picture of who they like to be) will be more easily accepted by the group they wish to belong to.
I only wish to be me and whether people like me or not is not a concern of mine.

I do want to be myself and there are certain lifestyles I would like to live here on Earth but I guess it just wasn't meant to happen and I feel that I should try to live my life for God and Jesus Christ and to make them happier.

As long as you're hoping to get two fancy dwellings you might as well dream about getting a golden limo that never breaks down or runs out of gas so you can drive back and forth between them.

Yeah the gas thing is important because with gas prices soaring through the roof it'd really suck to have to park the golden limo...

Plus If I'm to believe certain religio-conservative groups. The liberal hippies don't go to heaven so there's no-one to make you feel guilty about driving a 3 miles to the gallon SUV over all those clouds.

Afraid not but then again not too many people get to go there. If I were you, I'd prepare myself to receive many pitchforks to the rear. As for me I've found a doctor in Albania that has agreed to replace my buttocks with lead domes

Seems to look that way! I'll keep prayin' for you though. Even and atheist can see the light.

Seriously though, the actual verse the OP is referring to is John 14:2. Doesn't really say anything about mansions...although I've heard that analogy a lot in Christian circles.

In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.
