I have not read the entire thread, but what boggles my mind is how freaking obsessed people are with homosexuality. It's stupid. There are so many more important things to worry about than whether John loves Sue or Dave.
It's a shame people won't spend this time, thought and energy on actual worthwhile causes such as poverty, lack of access to health care, etc. Just stay out of everyone's bedrooms already. What takes place between two consenting adults is no one else's business.

People hate or fear what they do not understand. Homophobes do not, or cannot, understand homosexuality so they hate and fear it. Then again, I don't really understand it either. I am not homosexual so I would never dare criticize them nor accuse them of being sinful, but I know several gay and lesbian people quite well, in fact my nephew is gay. He is a kind, gentle, successful and highly intelligent man who did not choose his genetic/sexual orientation.
It frustrates and ires me to hear Christians (or anyone else) spouting off religious nonsense about homosexuals being damned to Hell. It is not my chosen lifestyle but as long as it is consensual and love-based, it is no more sinful than any heterosexual lifestyle. For the vast majority of gays and lesbians, their lives are peaceful and non-threatening. They are good citizens, good parents, good friends, and if I were God I would be pleased with how they turned out. I work in a jail...literally, and have been in the law enforcement field for 20 years and you almost NEVER hear of a homosexual committing a heinous crime.

I wonder if it has to do with the fact that ALL embryos begin as female and only take on male charastistics after fertilization? Perhaps some of these embryos maintain some of their female traits, including sexuality and often their mannerisms and even appearance, to some degree.
