Are you really sure of the other option?

Whats the other option? And is God a Man, Alien or Energy? And did he create us from mud and spit or from that of the molecular life where man eventually evolved into what we are today? Personally I think it's very interesting to debate about it but in the end it has no relevance in what religion and spirituality is all about, that is to live a better life.

Tell us what you're thinking of when you say "other option".

Other than that, if you're referring to people who do not believe in a deity or in creation, then I suggest you Google the term 'scientific method'. Most of the people I know who disbelieve in gods and creation subscribe to some level of it in order to decide what they believe and disbelieve.

The reason I personally don't believe in a god or in creation is because no evidence exists for either one of them, and an overwhelming amount of evidence supports evolutionary theory. Therefore, unless that changes, I will continue to believe the way I do now.

As far as the proof you are asking for, we don't need to produce proof that there is no deity. It is up to the people claiming that he exists to produce that.

I am not SURE of anything. But the "other option" as you put it, makes more sense to me.

Hummmm, it has been my experience over time that those who only see two options are missing a lot of the picture. I remind myself daily that there are always more options than I have awareness of. Oft-times I am too close to an event to see it properly, if I can only envision two options, I need a better perspective.

How DO you explain the existence of the universe, if not by God?

I do not understand why you think you need an imaginary friend to explain the universe to you.

Why do you NEED to explain the existence of the universe? Are you so afraid of not knowing that you must invent an imaginary magical friend to explain the existence of everything?

... virtual? "real"?
I remember the day hearing a TV moderator "confessing" himself to be
dependent on dialogues, at work, wherever. What an enlightenment that was to me!
