If a child dies before they're born will they be able to go to Heaven? (salvation, souls)

Yes. They will be taken care of by guardians until the age of consent. (When they choose what path they want to take). The only thing they will miss out on is the earth experience.
And of course, once a child experiences Heaven, they will make the right choice and stay. They will have more direct knowledge to make an informed decision.
Too bad everyone doesn't get the same opportunity.

Oh, but we all get the opportunity! It's just a shame that things are the way they are and we have several versions of religion to make the choice. If Jesus' truths had been allowed to stay in the bible, we wouldn't be in the mess we are in today.
The choices I was referring to is whether they choose to be in the natural love heavens and not see God or the choice to be in the Celestial Heavens and see God. We all have that choice but, unfortunately, the way things are presented, most people will end up in the natural heavens because no one who believes in the bible and that it is inerrant believes in Divine Love. Most of them believe that believing in death and sacrifice get you to heaven when, in fact, it only stagnates the soul.
I wish everyone would learn to understand that heaven is a very vast place and it will take billions of years before we even can see God because our souls have not progressed enough on this earth to see Him. Even Jesus still has not seen him. Only with His soul perceptions. God has so much energy and His soul is so pure that even if Jesus saw Him as He is, He would cease to exist because of the power of God. We must build our souls up in order to see Him. This is only the first stage of that progression. Imagine your in kindergarten and God has a Doctorate. Think how far we have to go to get there.
Children are the purest forms of God that we know. Especially those who do not get the chance to live an earth life because they have not forgotten who God is. They still have to make a choice though.

And your right. That child will go to heaven, however, the mom's soul will be darker for it. She will then need to atone for that injustice.
It is also about the intent of the abortion. Say, if a mother aborted because of a health issue and it was either her or the baby that was going to die and she killed the baby, her soul would suffer less for it than if she killed it because she was just ignorant of taking precautions.
Being raped is a whole different ballgame. One does not know the mother or the raper to determine that one. It's a tough choice. I think it did come up one time and it's wrong but not as wrong as just illing it for the moms pleasure at enjoying life without children.
In my beliefs, anything that harms the soul will need to be atoned for.
Could there possibly be a greater sacrifice than to darken one's own soul to insure an innocent makes it into heaven before the demons of this world have a chance hook to their claws into her?
There are no demons. Humans like to use that scare tactic to control.
It's not good that a mother abort to save the soul of the child. The mother will suffer by her own guilt for destroying that which God created.
