I don't worry about the end of times, and I don't think Jesus wanted us to.
Really? How could someone read and buy into revelations and not be a bit scared? GOD would want you to just let them murder you? GOD would not want you to prepare to protect yourself and your family? Ugh, oh ok.

As a Christian I am not afraid of what is said in Revelation, because I won't be there. I think people who are not Christians should be afraid VERY afraid because it will happen...are you ready???
This world is not my home, I'm just a'passing through.
My treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue.
The angels beckon me from Heaven's open door,
And I can't feel at home in this world anymore.
Onward to the prize before us, soon His beauty we'll behold.
Soon the pearly gates will open, we shall tread the streets of gold.
When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be.
When we all see Jesus, we'll sing and shout the victory.
I'm just in a singing mood this afternoon. Please bear with me. Anyway, I am so ready to go when God calls me home. It's rather exciting even though I don't know when it will be or when Jesus will return. Any time is great because I know where I'm spending eternity. I have no worries or frets knowing He will prepare a place for me. I'm so glad I'm saved.

I am not a christian, and I am not afraid of what is said in Revelation because it is a myth and will not happen.
In the year 5050, Christians will still be looking at their clocks and saying "any minute now"! Not that Christianity will be around then...but you get my point I'm sure!!

If it's true which I truly believe it is, there is no reason to be afraid of dying as one will have a home in Heaven if he or she knows Jesus. And if it is not true as you profess, there is no reason to be afraid either as it's been said by some on the threads, "We will just die."
My dad thought like that for 76 years, thought it was just brainwashing, and then a miracle happened because of undying faith and prayer in our family and with our friends. My dad is now in Heaven. I'll never forget the day he was saved on April 20, 1987. My son was 10 at the time, and he said to him, "Congratulations, Grandpa. I'm glad you'll be in Heaven one day."
I have plenty of evidence that it is unreasonable to believe in god, some of which I have posted in other threads.
My evidence is based upon rationality, logic, and hard evidence as to how the world works.
In any case, the existence of god is a fantastical claim, and as such, the burden of proof rests upon the person making the fantastic claim.
Would you like to debate this in a different thread where we would not be deviating from the OP?
I have no desire to debate God's word with you or anyone. God's Word does not need me to defend it. My evidence is based on the love of God, belief in His Word and the evidence I have seen in my life.
