Anyone who doesn't believe in evil has never met my mother-in-law.

I was laid off once when I shouldn't have been! Evil! I mean, I really REALLY needed that job, but even when I prayed, God didn't answer!

Evil!

Otherwise, people's minds are biochemically capable of doing bad things to others. No spirits involved.

Being an atheist doesn't mean that one doesn't think evil exists. It simply isn't represented by Satan, demons, etc. People do it with no help from the supernatural.

Is it mental illness or evil? I believe its mental illness, evil doesn't try to
hurt themselves, they live and breath to hurt other's.

This girl will take her own life the first opportunity she gets, her life
and another's mean nothing.

If she has no empathy or conscience, then she is a psychopath, and yes that is a mental problem. A psychopath is an individual who is incapable of feeling guilt, remorse or empathy for their actions. They are generally cunning, manipulative and know the difference between right and wrong but dismiss it as applying to them.

They are incapable of normal emotions such as love, and generally react without considering the consequences of their actions and show extreme egocentric and narcissistic behavior.

In my opinion this 15 year old girl cannot be rehabilitated. No treatment exists for this personality disorder...If and when she is released she will likely offend again.

I think psychopaths can be evil, but an evil psychopath wouldn't attempt
to take their own life, they value themselves to much. I'm not a psychologist
or psychiatrist, but I did have some personal experience with a socio.

People can do 'evil' things, yes. Evil doesn't exist as an entity.

the greatest accomplishment of satan in this age was to convince us he does not exist.
