It should be as obvious as the noses on our faces that, "And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind" is symbolic language, not literal.
Conversley, "Love one another" is obviously pretty literal.
I say read the Bible coupled with some common sense, some prayer and a heart that desires wisdom, and you will find it.
Considering the Bible was written over thousands of years and translated hundreds of times, it has NO major contradictions - and none if things are taken in proper context
There is a clear theme throughout the authors: Man falls by sin, God gives forgiveness (first through circumcision, then through Jesus)
