After days of below zero lows and single digit highs it warmed yesterday and pipes burst. Hours in frozen mud repairing, oh fun. Rain all day yesterday which turned into ice, all the roads in three counties are ice covered. Glad to be retired and not having to drive on that. Lots and lots of wrecks. No walk this morning as I don't have ice cleats on my boots. Dogs ran out and slid about 10 feet in the yard.
Strange, I was thinking about her too. She did post something emotional in response to some crass remark someone posted, saying she's in a vulnerable state with an upcoming cancer test result due. It has crossed my mind that perhaps in that regard she's not doing well. She had been posting quite regularly.
It's 66 now, and high of 72 today. The sun is shining and a bunch of big strong men with chainsaws are removing 3 trees in the yard. So grateful for the weather and the funds to keep up the yard.
Another gorgeous day in SE Arizona. I pinch myself cause I still can't believe that I'm so lucky to be here
It's been really nice up here today too. I turned the heat down to 60 last night when I went to bed and never turned it back up till about two hours ago. It got cloudy, windy and really cold fast! Now the sun is back out, the wind has died down and it looks good out there. Heat back down to 60. My house warms up fast. Yesterday the entire top of the mountain, and about halfway down, was totally cloud covered. Even Sedona had clouds sitting on top of the red rocks. None of that today.
Henderson was high on my list but didn't think I could handle the dry air. How do you handle it?
