Here's to dear old Boston,
Land of the bean and cod,
Where the Lowells only talk to the Cabots
And the Cabots only talk to God.

Harvard Toast c. 1920

They may do it differently in Arkham, certainly in Innsmouth. But nowhere do they use maple syrup on cod.

Thatv would be disgusting. But even here in the Aux Arcs - along with my New England family roots on both sides - nothin' but REAL maple syrup in the house.

Is there really any other kind; an' I ain't talkin' that Canuck stuff?

Truthfully that makes a lot of sense. Especially if you are a transplant.

Decidedly a transplant. Was gettin' root-bound over yonder on the left coast.

I try when possible to take a mid morning nap everyday. If not then some other part of the day. The bodies heals when sleeping and your Chi is vital to that process. So taking a healing nap daily is part of my physical and mental health program. On days I have accupuncture the remainder of the day after treatment is a continuance in part of my accupunture nap. It is a day of chilled and relaxed well being. Napping on the beach and napping on the deck are especially productive.

If I fall asleep during the afternoon I stay tired and groggy all day.

I don't take naps; only time I feel like getting any sleep (even a nap) during the day is if I'm not feeling well.

For the past 14 yrs ever since I retired, I've been taking my late afternoon daily naps like clock work! Makes me feel rejuvenated! And I get an average of 8 hrs of sleep every night and feel great in the morning everyday! They say sleep, keeps one looking young as they get older! Where's the mirror!
