we flew to montreal . it was less then an hour flight.

that church i believe is Notre-Dame Basilica (Montreal .

we were in photography heaven . everywhere we went was fabulous architecture . we did a photo-shoot in Savannah ga in sept and that was awesome too .

we use two different camera set ups . i use a full frame nikon d800 for macro and low light work but for travel marilyn and i each use a small lightweight fuji x100s , now they are the x100t .

for about 1500 bucks each they are great for travel and street photography

We have had a run of overcast days, but today was off-and-on-again sunny so I went outside of town and took some photos, which I haven't done since spring. #1 is buttercups blooming on the cliffs by the sea, inland these flowers simply take over; #2 looking back at the southern edge of town; #3 looking west down the coast.

I think many of us might want to live where you live right now. Buttercups by the sea--in WINTER. Nice pictures of beautiful scenery. Took me away from this bleakness we call winter.

Does seem that I left a rather important bit of info out....I live in SW Portugal. Buttercups are rampant here, and often appear in dense profusion around Christmas. This is mid-winter for us, sorry Actually this fall and winter have been the mildest I think I can remember in 16 years. Today the temp was about 67F in late afternoon, the almond trees are bursting into bloom as are a number of other wild flowers that usually come several weeks later.

The attached photo was taken around around the corner and at the end of the street Christmas Day 2014.

Everybody that uses this forum doesn't use Facebook. Likewise, everybody that uses Facebook doesn't use this forum.

I like seeing the photos. I never knew Portugal was so pretty.

^Besides, this forum has a place to store photos in your profile as well as a photography forum and photography threads within forums. It hasn't turned into Facebook in 14 years.
