But I won't do that. (death of Meat Loaf) (moving, anniversary, diabetes)

Our small group of fully vaccinated Marines are all sick with the CCP Virus. Being vaccinated means very little. My natural immunity is all I care to have.
I'm so thankful for people who speak out against this tyrannical government.
Meatloaf has had severe health issues for years.
Not true, being vaccinated means one has a much less chance of death from covid, this has been repeated over & over again by reputable medical authorities, just not by some politicians or internet "experts".
Mr Loaf took his chances & unfortunately for him, & especially his family, lost. He isn't the only rocker to make bad choices.

Absolutely agree. I am vaccinated and hope that it might prevent me from dying in a hospital if I get
Covid. Never have we had such a politically-packed attitude about a vaccine which can help people avoid dying...It's so very sad...the numbers of people dying from Covid are largely composed of the unvaccinated.
I don't understand the fascination with the guy's vaccination status.
I'm vaccinated and boosted - got boosted in October. I was able to get vaccinated in 12/20 and 1/2021 based on employment status, then boosted at the front of the line, even though I'm in my 30s and healthy, but I chose to do that. Likewise, Meat Loaf decided to (probably) not get vaccinated.
I fully support folks' civil liberties to not get vaccinated. If you do not, though, do not show up at the overloaded hospitals that I used to support expecting treatment. You chose to not be vaccinated. By virtue of that, and knowing that hospitals are currently overloaded, stay at home and deal with it on your own the best way you can.
Meat Loaf was an excellent singer. I choose to remember him based on his musical talent, not his vaccination position. He had many health issues for many years.
I just happened to come across the last short video messages (vlogs?) that ML sent out to his followers on whatever it was he posted on. It just happened to come up on my Youtube feed probably because I watched one video of his earlier. I wasn't that much of a fan or part of the age group that would be interested in him but he had a few interesting albums I guess & I was familiar with his onstage persona.
Anyway, he looked normal & subdued talking into his camera but older looking than I expected with short grayish hair plus he sounded weak. This was obviously before covid hit but he talked about his having to live with pain all the time from a back injury that needed surgery in 3 months, said he was never without pain & could never get comfortable even in a chair or sleeping and mentioned that showers were torture. He said it would actually be three separate operations at once performed by two different types of surgeons.
Both of the vids were about his current physical trials pretty much, he did mention that he would start touring again this summer after the surgeries. It was sad to hear his obvious downbeat mental state especially knowing what would happen to him a few days later. RIP

The fascination is because he had COVID right before he died. It has not come out if he was vaccinated or not.
Apparently he was anti vaccine and mask mandate, so people think he was not vaccinated. In my opinion being anti mandates doesn't mean he was against the vaccine. He was against forcing people to get it. So am I.

I agree about being thankful for people speaking out against the government. It's the US, not a dictator country. People have been nuts with this vaccine. It's supposed to protect the person getting the vaccine but that's not good enough, because the vaccine was over sold, vaccinated people are still getting sick. They're not thankful that it's keeping them out of the ICU which is what the vaccine protection narrative was changed to. Vaccinated people want the heads of the not vaccinated to roll, to make them get one too.
Military should not have to vaccinate if they don't want to but they have their own rules which may get people killed due to losing the ones that don't want to because there won't be enough military to send to war if it happens. The number of currently not vaccinated military is pretty high.

And add on to the drama:
John Rich escorts Bussey out of the room to keep him from getting his head ripped off by MeatLoaf, and tells him to stay out until Meat cools off. What does the stoned/out-of-it Bussey do? He appeared puzzled at the request and then immediately re-enters the room.
Meatloaf finds his bag in the corner and realizes he was wrong to accuse Bussey of theft. What does Meat do? He gets angry again and starts screaming at nothing.
Great TV. They reconciled later in the show as I remember and Meat explained he was undergoing counseling for anger management.
Thanks for the memories Meat.
I just found a really good interview with Meat and Dan Rather from 2021 where that comes up. He said they spliced the argument, it didn't happen the way it was edited for TV. Dan says, you spent the time on the apprentice at 50:50.
Oh my!!!!!!! Roselvr that interview with Dan Rather was so wonderful.
Thank you for sharing it. When I saw it was 50 minutes I hesitated but I watched the whole thing and thoroughly enjoyed it. The very small icing on the cake was that Gilda Radner ( who I adored) and John Belusci ultimately got him on SNL.

You're very welcome! I should have said how great it was. It sure did not feel like I watched it that long. I couldn't believe if it wasn't for being on SNL, we may not have had "Meat Loaf". He can deny those words all he wants, he's a legend and all of those other words, whether he likes it or not, especially since no other album will sell like Bat out of Hell has. That came out of his own mouth.
To anyone who hasn't watched that interview, it is worth watching, even if you're not a fan. I was younger than everyone when the album came out, I listened to it a lot, but he wasn't one of my main groups as I got older. I really enjoyed watching the interview.
WHOA!!! I never would have expected that. Thank you so much for posting!!!
