Maybe if he wan’t overweight and diabetic and possibly otherwise compromised he would still be alive. Vax or not vax had nothing to do with his death.

He had major health issues for many years. I'm really surprised he even lived this long, Covid or not.

Add me to the long list of fans who really appreciated his talent. His voice was just beautiful. I think he had such a kindness about him and a real sense of being normal. I do remember seeing Rocky Horror when the cult thing was starting out and being in awe of the people who showed up with newspapers and rice.
A friend also saw it in another theatre about 60 miles away and we were amazed that the same thing happened and the same comments were shouted out there too. Now of course it's taken for granted.

I had run into him probably about 40-45 years ago in an ordinary place and one person came up to him and he was just so gracious and nice and normal. It was so impressive.
I really loved his sense of humor and he provided many many hours of enjoyment.

Too bad he never moved to Broadway—

He was in the original production of Hair on Broadway and later, the Broadway productions of The Rocky Horror Show and Rockabye Hamlet.

He was one of the best pure singers in modern rock.

I was actually a big fan of his. I got into him back in college. I did not think "Bat out of Hell," aside from the title track, Two out of Three Ain't Bad, and Paradise by the Dashboard Lights, was anywhere near the quality of "Bat out of Hell II." "Life is a Lemon and I want my money back" is an absolute anthemic rocker for the generations.

I'm partial to Bat out of Hell III, as it came out when I was in college. Tons of bangers on there. It's harder rock than the previous albums.

He had tons of duds in between the Bat out of Hell albums.
