(Clapton, that is).
Eric got the vax. He didn't get the booster because he got side effects from the vax, his peripheral neuropathy in his fingers got worse. Mine did too, but I don't know if the vax caused it. It is a degenerative condition to begin with.

Default But I won't do that...

Did they ever reveal what exactly is "that?"

He wouldn't cheat on her.

Listen to the long play version...he sings that all through the song, but at the end is a sing-dialog between him and the woman.

Her last "comment is:
"I know the territory/I've been around/
It'll all turn to dust/and we'll all fall down...sooner or later you'll be screwing around!"

And Meat Loaf replies "no, I won't do that"

So, as stated above, he "won't do that"..cheat on her.

I'd have to listen to short radio version, it has a shortened sing-dialog, and that last tidbit might not be in there.

But it's definitely on longer version.

You can go to YouTube and play the concert live version...

Also, he had lots of health problems, had heart surgery after collapsing on stage in England.
After another health scare he was claimed to say "that will probably be the last one I do".

Also, he had severe asthma, and after belting out those songs, they had oxygen cannisters back stage so he could breath pure O2 to recover.

He's had knee replacement s, other health issues.

But he will definitely be one man, even fat, that I will always remember.

I think the whole country will.

RIP

That's where I first saw Meat Loaf, at RHPS at the midnight movies. It must've been 1975 or 76.

My co-worker claims this is true...

He's on a weekly mailing list for Weber Grills;he gets a recipe of some kind from the company...
Guess what the recipe was for today...Yep...MEATLOAF!

He told me also that during the day today he got another Email from Weber apologizing for the weekly Email;because it had been prepared the night before the announcement of Marvin Lee Aday's passing.

Talk about bad timing...

I liked Meatloaf(The singer)a lot...but when I heard Louie Anderson had died I shed a little tear...I had a lot of common with him while I was growing up...the obesity...parents that seemed pressed to show love, etc.

In my early 20s "2 out of 3 ain't bad" became the theme song for that period of my life. I broke up with my fiance and was totally devastated. I sat in my room and played this song over and over again and wanting the world to end.
To this day, I can't think about her and my life back then without thinking of Meatloaf and this song. With Meatloaf gone, part of me is gone as well.
