Ok I know everyone is going to die.But say you went to the Doctor and he said you was probably only going to live another year two most.

Ok you've been sick for years but still able to go out and have fun.You have done almost all the traveling a person could do.

Would you go on doing as you are already doing or would you try to get money together to do something special even though it is going to take away from the family short term?

I would continue working to ensure my family was taken care of after my passing.

Family is all I have. Family is all we leave behind and it isn't about us.

I don't want to bring on bad juju by responding, but my first reaction is I would pack my bags and move directly to the Oregon Coast. I would spend some time there ( a place that feels spiritual and healing for me) and depending on how I felt, I would buy myself a new RV and spend some time traveling around the country for a last hurrah. Those are two of my longest term dreams.

Realistically speaking though, I would probably want to be as close to friends, family and familiarity as possible so I probably would stay here and vacation to the Oregon Coast for a little while. Whatever I did, I would definitely feel cheated.

I've always wanted to have a past life regression and a life between lives regression done and would probably do that too. (Yes, I know some people think that's weird or hokum but I like to be prepared.)

Well say you are drawing a Good Pension so no need to work. But your SO is working so any extra being spent would come from what you could collect up from both incomes.

But SO has already said you can't afford extra so you continue to do as you are doing.Do you still try to anyway?

We lost a very good friend this year to pancreatic cancer. When they found out he had this horrible thing they went to Costa Rico and went zip linning through the forest among other great trips while he was feeling well enough. He gave it a good fight and lived right up to the end.

I would move to Key West TOMORROW and live in a little conch shack, wander down to the local watering hole and imbibe recklessly and excessively while having a great time.

Doctor's are more often wrong than they are right with regards to being able to "predict" when someone is going to die. Most of them cannot even "predict" with accuracy when someone is going to have a baby, let alone die.

I'd not put much stock in it myself.

Well... I wouldn't go sky diving or 2.7 seconds on a bull named Fu Manchu like the Tim McGraw song "Live Like You Were Dying" talks about! The rest of the song has some interesting possibilities, however. Google it if you're curious. I can't post the whole thing because of copyright issues.

I think I would go here:

Hotel Caruso Ravello - a luxury hotel on the Amalfi Coast, Ravello, Italy

And take my family and friends - Orient Express from London to Paris to Rome then private drivers to Amalfi http://www.monettitaxi17.it/English.htm

On more of a budget, stay http://www.ondaverde.it/welcoming.htm

For the very last few days, I would take the Orient Express to Venice!

I'd buy a mountain cabin surrounded by pine trees in Arizona, sit on the deck, and watch the squirrels.

Seriously.
