More information about the Smith Hill shooting. Pretty disturbing. There was a Cinco de Mayo party that night at this restaurant/lounge. 19 "used cartridges" were found on Francis Smith Way. I assume those are shell casings.
Not sure where to post this kind of stuff anymore, but six were arrested on drug charges including 3.7 kilograms of fentanyl, 2.5 kilograms of cocaine, 375 grams of methamphetamine (all were seized).

This evening two people (a woman and a teenager) were shot at a memorial vigil, corner of Amherst and Julian St.. This is a NOTORIOUS area of the city's troubled Olneyville neighborhood.
(a lot because we have some irresponsible members who try to portray Olneyville as a safe place - when their only experience in Olneyville is New York System weiners and a croissant shop)
Amherst Street & Julian Street, where 2 people were shot tonight, is in the heart of the very dangerous Manton Valley Atwells triangle.
^ And I don't care if some houses in that neighborhood have been painted recently. It is NOT gentrified. It remains a dangerous area.
