I am still trying to figure out a post about demographics by race in Jamestown is related to the Providence restaurant scene???
It's not relevant to the Providence restaurant scene, but it is relevant to the direction the thread went (note: it was derailed by MMS and independent man).
To clarify, one of our belligerent posters often likes to suggest that some other posters on here are racists and don't want to be around black people. The irony is that this deeply insecure individual lives in a town with the least amount of black people in RI.

To my knowledge, the belligerent posters here don’t live in Jamestown. And the regular poster here who does live in Jamestown lived happily in various Providence neighborhoods with varied demographics. Jamestown is a desirable place. That you, and some ding dong poster, view Jamestown as some sort of white’s only mecca speaks more about the two of you than the city or its inhabitants.
Go ahead, stick out that bottom lip, and declare “is too.” We know it’s coming. It’s all you’ve got.

I'll say this as succinctly and politely as possible: your knowledge is lacking.

A truly ridiculous take. I'll leave it at that, as my point has already been made.

You don’t ever disappoint! A bird’s going to come along and crap on that lip.

And the further irony is that you would use that residence as a weapon - as if race must be the reason a person picks where to live - without disclosing where you live, so that IM gets the same opportunity.

You see, you don't even know that Jamestown is a town and not a city. And this is what the slumlord has for backup???
^^^Just more paranoid fantasy. It is interesting, well slightly more interesting than his usual pablum, that while he routinely makes a big show of saying the neighborhood isn’t safe to go to, he turns around and claims he went there. I don’t believe that for a second, by the way. Especially so if he was properly hydrated upon arrival, without a second pair of pants.
Olneyville is fine for the vast majority of the population, business district or residential areas alike, but perhaps not for those with borderline clinical paranoia. As I have noted here several times, if Olneyville were as dangerous as Mr. Rubber Room proclaims, a place like Wes’ Rib House or Olneyville New York System would have closed up shop long ago. There aren’t any no go zones in Olneyville.
Folks, Olneyville is among the top five or so notorious ghettos in the state of Rhode Island. Please disregard the poster who has recklessly and erroneously tried to portray this impoverished and crime infested neighborhood as a destination of bike paths and croissant trucks. It completely demolishes any credibility he had regarding this 'hood.

"Folks" we call this poster one of the Crime Fetish Twins. Disregard his attempts to broad brush paint whole neighborhoods as crime infested because they're poor. You may know the type - in addition to a creepy crime fetish, these two enjoy putting others down in a sad attempt to make themselves feel up.

Then why are you going there and recommending restaurants there? Actions speak louder than words.
